The Dolphins have made it official:
2005 undrafted free agent Greg Camarillo beat out 2006 third-round draft pick Derek Hagan for the first-team wide receiver job.
2003 Browns third-round pick Chris Crocker has leapfrogged 2006 16th overall draft pick Jason Allen for the starting safety spot.
Says Sparano: "[Camarillo's] got really good awareness. He gives the quarterback a pretty sound target. The guy has excellent hands, can run after the catch. He's sneaky fast... [Crocker] provides a little bit more stability back there, got his hands on a few more balls, played a little bit more solid [than Jason Allen]."
Meanwhile, 2006 25th overall draft pick wide receiver Santonio Holmes is prepping for another stellar season with the Steelers while 2006 19th overall draft pick corner back Antonio Cromartie is getting ready for another Pro-Bowl season with the Chargers.
Says me: "Fuck Nick Saban in the pants."
