Palm Beach Post does a nice job of putting together a list of possible NT options to be the lynchpin of our 3-4 defense. There's no question that Baltimore pushed us around with ease and having a space-eater the likes of a Ron Brace or Roy Miller (above) would give us some much needed toughness along the defensive line. Obviously, Jason Ferguson already has quite a bit of wear and tear at 34 so it's key to bring in someone to get NFL-ready for the position when big Ferg needs a breather or to take over for the inevitable 3-4 games Ferg may be out due to injury. This is as crucial to the continual rebuilding of our defense as a pass rushing DE/LB or a big, strong CB - without it, bigger offensive lines (the likes of which we'll see plenty of this upcoming season) will manhandle us at the first point of attack and get to the second level with relative ease.
And that will fucking blow.
