The AP reported last night that Venus and Serena Williams will be announced as the new celebrity minority-stake holders of the Miami Dolphins sometime next week.

The tennis-playing sisters will become the latest celebrities to own a stake in the Miami Dolphins, a person familiar with the deal said Wednesday.

I actually don't mind this all that much. So I'm not gonna make any snide comments about it. Aside from the fact that these two can easily kick the shit out of mine and DRK's ass, it's not all that outrageous. The Williams sisters aren't D-list celebrities. In fact, they're two of the all-time greatest women players in the history of professional tennis. They're the best at what they do.

As opposed to say, Jennifer Lopez, who for some unexplained mystical reason has fooled people into thinking she's hot and can act and sing.

I think a good comparison to the Williams sisters vs. J-Lo thing would be Michael Jordan vs. this cat.
