The Ayatollah of Rock and Rolla!
He is Cameron Wake.
We were all dying to see this guy get some real PT. But Tony Sparano said Wake needed to work on his special teams play and, probably more important, his run defense before he could crack some real playing time on defense. But Joey Porter's hamstring wanted to see Cameron out there just as bad as the rest of us, so it tweaked itself and put Porter on the shelf. Cameron made the most of that opportunity with a 6 tackle, forced fumble, 3 sack performance against the Bills on Sunday.
Total and utter destruction.
And what does Jason Taylor think of Lord Humungus?:
"I've been around a long time and he does things that amaze me,'' Dolphins longtime sackmaster Jason Taylor said. ``It's those young, fresh legs, good cartilage in his knees. Joey and I will always joke watching tape, see Cameron dip underneath somebody, kind of get pushed around, he'll spin around and pop off the ground. We always look at each other and say, `That's those good knees, the good cartilage.' "
Yes, good young knees and cartilage. But also the ability to utterly annihilate offensive linemen with those gargantuan Roman columns he calls arms. The dude is a mountain. But a mountain that can sack quarterbacks. Look at him, for fucksake. You can fit an entire Tony Sparano inside him!
