The Palm Beach Post breaks down why last night’s Colts win over the Jaguars really had no bearing on our playoff hopes. In fact, it still seems that it might be easier for the Fins to win the AFC East than the wildcard. And that’s just fine by us:

Joey Porter said Thursday the team has accepted as much – that if they do lose one more, too many things have to happen for them to make it. Based on that, it’s the Jags’ game at New England next week that will make all the difference.

It’s pretty fantastic to be sitting here talking playoffs and possibly winning the AFC East after we started the season 0-3. You have to love this team’s resiliency. When I watch these guys on Sundays, I can actually hear AC/DC and Rage Against The Machine play in my head. It’s fucking awesome. As opposed to when I would watch them play during the Wannstedt/Saban/Cam years, when I would actually hear this play in my head.
