Thanks to his ballstastic shutdown performance against Randy Moss and Tom Brady on Sunday, Vontae Davis is up for this week’s NFL’s Pepsi Rookie of the Week award. So go vote for him. VD had two tackles, a pass defended and the key interception in the endzone that helped pave the way for the win. Asked about his big-play potential when they drafted him, Tony Sparano said VD is a “take-charge guy.” And, with that INT and Moss being held to just two catches Sunday, we’re beginning to see that.
You too can be a “take-charge guy” if you’d just apply yourself. Like, for example, an airline pilot. And by that, I mean smacking stewardesses in their ass and drinking lots and lots of scotch before takeoff.
