When the Dolphins fired Paul Pasqualoni earlier this week, the first name out of most fans mouths to replace him was Al Groh's. Oh guess what? The Dolphins interviewed Groh yesterday.
So that leaves Groh and Keith Butler as the reported frontrunners. There's always a chance they can promote assistant/secondary coach Todd Bowles. And there's always the inevitable "dark horse" candidate out there. Some might say Groh has a proven track record with Parcells teams. Others say Butler is an up-and-coming DC and a disciple of defensive innovator Dick LeBeau. Still others say Bowles is familiar with the players and deserves a shot.
There's only one way to settle this. That's right. Cockfights. Or... midget tossing. There's always Russian Roulette too. I have other great ideas!
