Fins To Take Earl Thomas Questionmark?

 

According to the Palm Beach Post, the Dolphins plan on meeting with badass Texas safety Earl Thomas. Thomas has great coverage skills, good speed, is physical, very good at man-to-man coverage, has play-making ability (8 INTS, 2 pick-6s) and is considered to have excellent football IQ. He's no Eric Berry, but the guy can make some serious noise at a position where we need serious help.

At the same time, he's just one of several guys the Dolphins are looking at in the coming weeks (they supposedly met with Rolando McClain yesterday). And the bottom line is nobody knows what the hell the Fins are going to do next month.

With the NFL draft three weeks away, the Dolphins might be the biggest wild card out there.

“The Dolphins are the toughest to read right now,” one scout said. “They could go in six different directions.”

Jesus this team can be so frustrating. Only because I wish they'd just tell me what they plan on doing. And with so many needs, it really is a complete and total fucking mystery. I want them to take Dez Bryant but that probably won't happen, so whatever. Can't we just draft them all? Dez, McClain, Kindle, Thomas, Spiller. That would really pull us out of a few jams and it'll kill the unbearable suspense. I think this might be the greatest plan ever devised! My Mom was right. I am special.
