As it is with every Victory Monday, here is Tony Sparano's post-game speech to the players. You can watch the video here.
As with all his speeches, Sparano starts talking as if he's in the middle of a thought, and then the speech kind of takes off from there and goes all over the place and eventually turns into a semblance of a speech. It is also peppered with the word, "K!"
The other players are used to this. Al Harris, who just signed last week, obviously isn't.
Also, is it me, or is Sparano shrinking in addition to losing weight? Weird.
All in all, you have to love him giving a game ball to Tyler Thigpen. You also have to love that Jake Long is there, fucked up shoulder and all.
What you can't love is the way MiamiDolphins.com sensors Sparano's remarks. The fuck, MiamiDolphins.com? Afraid to have kids out there hear Tony say, "We showed those assholes we mean business!" and yet you're perfectly fine letting them accidentally see Lousaka Polite's dong in the background?
Either way, it's always fun to see Sparano disappear into the mass of giant arms when the team huddles together. LEMME HEAR YA HOWL ON THREE!!
(Injury updates after the jump)
- As feared, Chad Pennington is out for the season. Thanks for everything, Captain Balls!
- No definitive word on Jake Long. But it sounds like he's going to be okay. WAR HAMMER SMASH!!
- Cameron Wake's injury wasn't serious. The Kraken should be released all up into Mopey McInterception's face this Thursday.
- Chad Henne's season may not quite be over just yet. Hooray quarterback controversies!!
