It appears that Jake Long has a torn labrum that will require surgery. Long supposedly wants to play through it and get the surgery once the season ends, because it takes about 3-6 weeks to recover and then another 3-6 to get back to full strength.
Will he play?
Should he play?
From the sound of it, it looks like it'll be up to Jake. Which means, hell yea he'll play, because that big fucker is a warrior. Who's going to be the poor schmo to tell Jake Long he can't play? That dude will come back from that meeting with his ballsack sewed to his chin.

Or as Omar tells us: "Through the first 42 games of his NFL career, Long has played all but 18 of 2,838 snaps. That's a ridiculous 99.4 percent participation rate."
And even then, the team doctors had to keep Long out of the games by shooting him with a moose tranquilizer.
