Some say loooooove,
It is a river.
Ah, Lilly. Apparently yesterday was sad for all us Dolfans for more than just the absolutely pathetic, unwatchable product that we have put on the field. One that cannot muster a win against a Detroit Lions team that before last week was incapable of winning on the road, much less winning at all. Yes, that was sad. But there is more reason to be sad on this day.
You see, yesterday was our beloved Lilly Robbins' final performance as a Miami Dolphins cheerleader. 'How can this be? This aggression will not stand, man!' But unfortunately, it is true. She will retire as one of the greats and a beautiful woman that we all feel should have retired on her own terms, much like Favre was allowed to play well beyond his 'prime' or what have you. Pro football cheerleading is a cruel, unjust world. May Lilly's wonderful beauty and light shine on forever more. Shine on you crazy diamond!
(h/t to Brandon Hill for the idea)
