The Miami Dolphins worked out former Bengals and Patriots receiver (and former dude who I went to high school with) Chad Ochocinco:
Dolphins head coach Joe Philbin told reporters today that the team did, in fact, work Ochocinco out. Philbin didn’t offer many details, however, such as whether the team remains interested after getting an up-close look at Ochocinco. “We’re doing our homework,” Philbin said, via Ben Volin of the Palm Beach Post.
So, should the Fins sign Chad?
Meh. If he can still play, why the hell not?
I never understood fan outrage over "diva" receivers, especially with a team devoid of talent and depth and dudes who can generally help us score more than three goddamn points. If a guy can help our team score points, why the shit do you care that he's a dick?
Our number one receiver is Brian Hartline. That's like the Avengers being led by that dude whose super powers is shooting arrows at people. Fighting aliens from outerspace with weapons that became obsolete in the 16th Century! Fuck yea!
